This site sets no cookies. It stores three small values in your own browser so it behaves sensibly when you come back. That is the whole story.

We do not set cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel, no social media widget, no tag manager and no third-party tracker on this site. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything: under the ePrivacy rules, consent is required for storage that is not strictly necessary, and we do not use any.
Three values are kept in your browser's local storage. Local storage stays on your device. It is never sent to us automatically the way a cookie would be, and we cannot read it from our servers.
el_cur — the currency you picked, so the list still shows that currency next time. Kept until you clear it.
el_rates — a cached copy of exchange rates, so we do not refetch them on every page. Refreshed periodically.
el_token — written only if you unlock the full list, so you do not have to unlock it again on the same device. Kept until you clear it.
Clearing site data for emptylegslist.com in your browser settings removes all three. In Chrome and Edge that is under Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies or Site settings; in Safari, Settings, Safari, Advanced, Website Data; in Firefox, Settings, Privacy and Security, Cookies and Site Data. Removing them costs you nothing except your currency preference and, if you had unlocked the list, the unlock on that device.
Private or incognito browsing discards them when you close the window.
We load the site's typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's font servers and Google receives your IP address as part of that request. No cookie is set by that request. If we move the fonts onto our own domain we will update this page.
If we ever add analytics or anything else that is not strictly necessary, we will put a consent banner in place before it loads, and update this page. Until then there is nothing to consent to.
