Las Vegas and Los Angeles are the busiest private aviation pair in the United States, and Van Nuys, inside the San Fernando Valley, is where most of the Los Angeles traffic actually lands. The flight is about forty five minutes.

This is the single most frequent corridor on our whole board. Of the 232 legs we recorded touching Las Vegas, more went to or from Van Nuys than to any destination except Aspen. Aircraft come into Las Vegas full and go home empty, over and over.

Van Nuys is quick for the Valley and the west side of Los Angeles and slow for anywhere south of downtown. On a forty five minute flight the drive at the far end is the longer half of the journey.
