Every aircraft type we keep a page for, with the number of flights listed on each one right now. Each page shows the flights currently offered on that type, what the operator published for seats and price, and the manufacturer figures for range and cabin.

Why the type matters

An empty leg is a repositioning flight, so you are taking the aircraft the operator already has moving. That means the cabin, the range and the runway it can use are fixed before you book. A turboprop reaches a short regional strip a jet cannot; a heavy jet gives you thirteen seats for close to midsize money when it happens to be flying your way. Picking by type is the fastest way to filter a list like this.
