Europe is where the priced empty legs are. Our board holds 359 upcoming empty legs touching a European airport, 338 of them flying between two European airports, and 160 of the 359 carry a published price: 45 percent, against 4 percent in the United States. European operators publish figures; American ones mostly say price on enquiry.
The United Kingdom is the largest single market, with a British airport on 184 of the legs, then Belgium at 106, almost all through Wevelgem, France at 97, Spain at 66 and Italy at 57. Below them Switzerland, Greece, Austria, the Netherlands, Germany, Cyprus and Ireland each carry between 12 and 31. The busiest single fields are Wevelgem on 60 legs, London on 53, Luton on 43, Nice on 28 and Brussels on 27.
The corridors are short. Larnaca to London runs six times each way, Cannes to Wevelgem five, Wevelgem to Ibiza four, Athens to London four, London to Paris three. The fleet is light and mid-size: the Citation CJ4 Gen 2 on 66 legs, the Latitude on 35, the Praetor 600 on 34, the Legacy 500 on 27. Across the 89 legs priced in euros the median aircraft is 5,400 and the median seat 622; across the 54 in pounds, 12,800 and 1,278. We have recorded 2,132 legs touching Europe since the end of July.

A listing can be sold or withdrawn between our last check and your enquiry. Set an alert on a route and you hear first.
An empty leg is a flight a charter operator has to make anyway, to position an aircraft for a booking or to bring it home afterwards, sold at a discount because the alternative is flying it empty. The operator sets the route, the date and the aircraft. You fit into a flight that already exists, and it is one way: there is no return leg and no such thing as a return seat.
Everything on this page comes from European legs that operators published on their own websites. We read those sites several times a day and record each leg exactly as listed, route, date, aircraft, seats and the operator's own price where they gave one. We do not read brokers, we take no commission and enquiries go straight to the operator. A leg counts for Europe when either end resolves to a European airport, first by the airport code the operator gave and then by the city name, so a leg written as an airport name still lands in the right country.
The written figures above are a snapshot from September 2026 and are restated, not quietly edited, when we rerun them. The live list is the board as it stands now.
