Munich to Graz and Graz to Krakow are the Alpine and Polish regulars; Addison, the business airfield north of Dallas, to southern Arkansas the American one. The M2 is a short sector aircraft and its empty legs are short sectors, an hour or so, which is why they scatter across so many countries: it goes where the last passenger went, and that is rarely far.

Cessna's smallest current jet is a CJ1 airframe reworked with Williams FJ44-1AP-21 engines, Garmin G3000 avionics and a new cabin, introduced in 2013 to give the company an entry level jet after the Mustang. It seats up to seven in a cabin you sit rather than stand in, flies about 1,500 nm and is certified for a single pilot, which is why so many are owner flown and why its charter empty legs are short sectors between small airports.
