Bombardier Global 6000 empty legs

Paris to Tashkent. Milan to Teterboro. The Global 6000's empty legs are the kind of sector most aircraft on this site could not attempt, and the reason to watch the page is that one day one of them will be going where you are.

Intercontinental by default

The busiest pairings on the 6000 are a transatlantic and a Europe to Central Asia run, which tells you what the type is for. Departure countries are many, repeats are few. The Global 5000 is the shorter legged sibling and behaves quite differently on this board, with a Canadian prairie habit.

Three zones and a galley

Global 6000 cabin, conference table and credenza in the forward zone, club seats aft
The forward zone: a four place conference table, a credenza, and two more living areas behind it.

Fourteen hours in the air is what the cabin was drawn for, so it is arranged as three rooms rather than a row of seats: dining and work forward, club seating in the middle, a divan that becomes a bed aft, with a proper galley and a crew rest ahead of it all. Even on a ninety minute repositioning hop that is what you get.

Figures and notice

A minority of legs carry a published price, more than the heavy Gulfstreams and fewer than a Challenger. Notice is short, a few days, and listings then stay up for a while. Eight to nineteen seats depending on the configuration; thirteen or fourteen on a typical listing. Specification: Global 6000 specifications.
