The Legacy 500 of 2014 was the first midsize business jet with full fly by wire flight controls, a technology until then found only on airliners and the largest business jets. A flat floor, a six foot cabin and Honeywell HTF7500E engines came with it. Embraer rebranded the type as the Praetor 600 in 2019 after adding range, and the Legacy 450 was the shorter version of the same aircraft.
