Empty Leg List is a live index of the empty leg flights charter operators publish. This page explains what it is, and how operators, destinations and brands can put themselves next to people who are already looking at a route.

An empty leg is a one way sector an aircraft flies with nobody on board, because it is repositioning between paid charters. That flight is happening either way, so the operator would rather sell it cheaply than fly it empty.
The problem was never the flights. It was finding them. They appear with days of notice, they are published across dozens of separate operator websites, and they disappear when they sell. Empty Leg List reads what operators publish, three times a day, and puts it in one place with the operator's own price attached.
It is a listing service. Not a broker, not an operator, not a party to any booking, and it takes no commission. An enquiry goes to the operator that published the flight. There is a fuller explanation on the about page.
Those pages break down as 54 city pages, 45 route pages and 34 aircraft type pages, each showing what is live on it rather than a static description. Eligible flights are also turned into fifteen second vertical films and published across eight social networks without manual editing.

A note on the reach figures. The audience, citation and page view numbers in the kit are group level, across the wider publishing ecosystem led by The Flying Engineer. The kit labels them that way on each slide. The platform figures on this page are Empty Leg List's own.
