One way empty legs between Birmingham and Oxford, exactly as the operators list them. The operator confirms availability and the price with you directly.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Birmingham International to Oxford at Kidlington is about 40 nautical miles, and every one of the eight listings here publishes the same block time, 35 minutes. Oxford Airport is the business aviation field for the city and for the western approaches to London.
One operator, one aeroplane, eight times. Every leg is Air Charter Scotland, with the same eight seat cabin and the same 35 minute block. There is no competing supply on this corridor: if nothing is listed, nothing is listed, because only one operator flies it on our board.
Birmingham is more than half of everything arriving at Oxford. Eight of the fifteen arrivals we have recorded into Oxford came from Birmingham, and nothing else reaches the field more than three times. Out of Birmingham it is the largest single destination, eight of 68 recorded departures, ahead of London Stansted at five.
It runs both ways, unevenly. We hold eight legs from Birmingham to Oxford and five in the other direction. Nothing else on this board connects the two cities, so this pair of flows is the entire relationship between them as far as our data goes.
Eight legs on eight dates between 6 August and 30 December 2026, arriving in ones and twos every two to four weeks. The only two close together are 29 and 30 December.
Two were still on the board when this page was built, 26 November and 29 December. Five have flown and the 30 December listing has been withdrawn. A corridor that produces about two legs a month is a case for the route alert rather than for checking back here.
Approximate corridor between Birmingham and Oxford. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Forty nautical miles is a long drive and a short flight, which is why the sector gets flown at all: an aircraft that has to be at Oxford gets there under its own power rather than being left at Birmingham. For a passenger the only real question is whether Oxford or one of the London fields is closer to where the day actually happens.
Between 31 July and 16 October 2026 we recorded 8 empty legs from Birmingham to Oxford. None of them carried a published price: every operator on this corridor lists it on request. All eight publish the same figures, eight seats and a 35 minute block, on the aircraft the operator writes as an EMB-550 Legacy 500. None publishes a price or a tail number.

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
None of the eight legs carries a published price. Air Charter Scotland publishes no figure on any of its 285 listings on this board, across 187 city pairs. The price comes from the operator when you ask, and we print nothing rather than guess at it.
The listings are otherwise complete, and identical to each other. All eight give eight seats and a 35 minute block, and all eight name the same aircraft, which the operator writes as an EMB-550 Legacy 500, the Embraer Legacy 500. None gives a tail number.
A 40 nautical mile sector is priced as an aircraft movement rather than as a journey. Whatever the operator quotes is for the whole aeroplane and never per seat, and on a sector this short the cost of moving the aircraft at all outweighs the time in the air. A short leg is not automatically a cheap one.
Ask whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight behind the positioning leg falls through, and whether the aircraft could continue to a London field instead if that suits you better. Birmingham to London is the other Birmingham corridor with a page here.
