Long Island MacArthur to Witham Field and back, over and over: the G280 on our board is a New York to Treasure Coast shuttle, and unusually for a Gulfstream, one that gives weeks of notice.

Long Island MacArthur at Islip is the New York end; Witham Field at Stuart is the Florida end, with Vero Beach the occasional alternative. It is the seasonal migration of the northeast in miniature, and the G280 does it with a cabin that could cross the Atlantic. If you split your time between Long Island and the Treasure Coast, no other page on this site is as directly useful.
The heavy Gulfstreams here are published days out and vanish fast. The G280 is the opposite: legs appear weeks ahead, and the list does not churn. Published prices are absent on it in our record, so the notice is your advantage, not the figure. Use it to enquire early.
Specification: Gulfstream G280, GlobalAir. In service since 2012 as the successor to the G200.
The G280 first flew in 2009 and was certified in 2012 as the G200's replacement, with a new wing, Honeywell HTF7250G engines, a T tail and 3,600 nm of range, built by Israel Aerospace Industries and completed in Dallas. It is the super midsize with the largest cabin volume in its class and the only one with a Gulfstream badge. On this board it works a New York to Florida shuttle with unusually long notice.
