One way empty legs between Farnborough and London, exactly as the operators list them. Prices are the operator's own, not a marked up quote.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Farnborough is the dedicated business aviation airport south west of London, and the nine legs here all end at one of two fields on the other side of the city: Luton, about 40 nautical miles away, or Stansted, about 55. The published block times run between 35 and 45 minutes.
Six went to Luton, then three went to Stansted. The first six legs, from 31 July to 14 September, all arrived at Luton. The last three, from 25 September to 6 October, all arrived at Stansted. The computed distance on this page uses Farnborough to Luton, the field the majority of the legs actually used.
Farnborough's largest destination, and one of London's largest sources. Nine of the 66 departures we have recorded out of Farnborough came to a London field, more than anywhere else including Paris at six. Into London it is the third largest origin on our board, behind Paris at thirteen and Larnaca at eleven.
One operator, and one that publishes prices. All nine legs are Luxaviation, which publishes a figure on 669 of its 1,116 listings on this board. Five of these nine carry one, which makes this an unusual thing on an empty leg board: a short positioning corridor where you can see what the operator actually asked for the aircraft.
Nine legs on nine dates between 31 July and 6 October 2026, arriving every one to two weeks. Two pairs sit close together, 24 and 25 August and 4 and 6 October.
Nothing on this corridor was live when this page was built. All nine have flown and not one was withdrawn. A corridor that produced nine legs in ten weeks and is empty today is exactly the case the route alert exists for.
Approximate corridor between Farnborough and London. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
London on this corridor means Luton or Stansted rather than a single airport, and the two sit on opposite sides of the north of the city. Check which one a listing names before judging the drive: fifteen nautical miles of difference in the air is a much larger difference on the ground.
Between 31 July and 16 October 2026 we recorded 9 empty legs from Farnborough to London. Five of the nine carried a published price, and in two currencies: GBP 9,000 once, EUR 10,400 twice and GBP 6,700 twice, each of them for the whole aircraft. We print them as the operator listed them and do not convert between sterling and euro. Eight of the nine publish a block time, between 35 and 45 minutes, and all nine publish a seat count, from eight on the Cessna Citation Excel legs to thirteen on the Embraer Legacy 600 and 650. None publishes a tail number.

| 14 Sep 2026 | Embraer Legacy 650 | 13 | EUR 10,400 | Already flown |

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
Five of the nine legs carry a published price: GBP 9,000 for an Embraer Legacy 600 with thirteen seats on 31 August, EUR 10,400 for an Embraer Legacy 650 with thirteen on 14 September and for a Bombardier Challenger 604 with eleven on 25 September, and GBP 6,700 for an Embraer Praetor 600 with nine on 4 October and a Cessna Citation Excel with eight on 6 October.
Each of those figures is for the whole aircraft, exactly as the operator published it, and not a per seat fare or a from price. Two currencies appear because Luxaviation lists some legs in sterling and some in euro. We print each one in the currency it was listed in and do not convert between them, so the only like for like comparison here is the two GBP 6,700 legs against the GBP 9,000 one, and those were different aircraft.
The other four publish no price. Luxaviation publishes a figure on 669 of its 1,116 listings on this board, so roughly two in five of its listings arrive without one. That is the operator's listing practice rather than anything particular to this route.
Eight of the nine publish a block time, between 35 and 45 minutes, and all nine publish a seat count, between eight and thirteen. Ask which London field you are landing at, whether the departure time can still move, and what happens if the paid flight behind the positioning leg falls through.
