Why this route produces empty legs

Prague is the fifth most frequent destination we have recorded out of London, five listings out of 142, behind Paris at twelve, Larnaca at nine and Wevelgem and Antwerp at six each. It is the highest ranked London destination on our board that did not already have a page. The sector is about 540 nautical miles.

Prague itself is a small node in our record, sixteen arrivals from eleven origins and thirteen departures to nine, and London is its largest partner in both directions. So this is not a busy corridor. It is a thin one where London happens to be the likeliest end.

Three operators appear on the six movements, which is what separates this from the single company calendars we normally leave alone: Call a Jet on four, SaxonAir on one and Luxaviation on one. They publish almost nothing in common. Call a Jet gives a city, a date, a type and a seat count on all 214 of its listings and never a price, a tail number, a block time or an airport code. Luxaviation gives all of those.

The aircraft are three: a Cessna Citation XLS+ three times, a nine seat Embraer Phenom 300E twice and an eleven seat Bombardier Challenger 604 once. That is a light and midsize route with one heavy outlier, and the outlier is the only leg carrying a price.

When they show up

In short bursts. Four of the six departed inside sixteen days in August 2026, on 3, 16, 17 and 18 August, and the corridor then went quiet for eight weeks. The two still open are 14 October and 15 November.

Notice on those two open legs is long, 36 days for the SaxonAir Cessna Citation XLS+ and 59 for the Luxaviation Bombardier Challenger 604. The four August legs were all already on the board on 31 July, the first day our record covers, so how long before that they were listed we cannot say. What we can say is that both open legs have been findable for more than a month, which makes this one of the few corridors where checking the page actually works.

The airports on this route

London has four business aviation fields and this corridor uses Stansted on both listings that say which. The four Call a Jet listings give the city and nothing more, so the departure field on those is the operator's to confirm, and the difference matters far more on the ground than in the air: Luton is about 20 nautical miles further from Prague, a few minutes of flying, while the drive between the two London fields is an hour or more.

This is a record, not availability. These are the legs we have recorded on this corridor, read when you opened this page, kept so the route has a history you can judge it by. None of them is bookable from this table. What is actually open right now is the live list above, and if it is empty the route alert is the way to catch the next one.

London to Prague in the record

Every leg we have recorded between London and Prague, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.

Legs by departure month

One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.

Before you book

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.

One of the six legs carries a published price: EUR 12,800 for the whole aircraft on an eleven seat Bombardier Challenger 604, tail T7-GOSHI, leaving Stansted on 15 November with a one hour 30 minute block time. That is Luxaviation, which prices 503 of its 968 listings.

The other five say price on request. Call a Jet, which has four of them, publishes no figure on any of its 214 listings anywhere in our record, and SaxonAir published none on this one. So five sixths of this corridor is a number you have to ask for, and we show nothing rather than guess.

The one price we do have belongs to the largest aircraft on the route, so it is not a corridor rate. EUR 12,800 buys an eleven seat heavy jet. The Cessna Citation XLS+ and the Embraer Phenom 300E that make up the other five movements are nine seat light and midsize aircraft, and on a 540 nautical mile sector they would not be priced anywhere near it.

Prague back to London is in our record but folds to three movements, so there is no reverse page. Ask the operator which London field the aircraft is leaving from, whether the departure time can still move, and what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through.
