Amsterdam one week, Las Vegas the next, Sarasota the one after. The Sovereign is among the most widely travelled super midsize types on this board, and among the most silent about money.

Amsterdam to Cascais, Las Vegas to Aspen, Sarasota to Miami: three continents' worth of regulars from an aircraft that also turns up in the Gulf, the Alps and the Caribbean. The Longitude shares the Las Vegas to Aspen run.
No published price has appeared on the Sovereign in our record, across a large number of legs. Notice is around ten days and listings stay up for a couple of weeks, so there is time to enquire; there is simply nothing to compare until you do. We count the Sovereign and Sovereign+ together, as operators use the names loosely.

A stand up cabin super midsize with a straight wing that lets it use short fields the Challenger 300 cannot. Nine seats is the usual charter fit. Specification: Citation Sovereign specifications.

The Sovereign was Cessna's move into the super midsize market in 2004: a stand up cabin seating nine, PW306C engines and a straight wing that gave it short field performance no swept wing rival could match. The Sovereign+ of 2013 added Garmin G5000 avionics, winglets and more range. Operators name the two loosely, so they are counted together here; 348 of the original were built before the plus replaced it.
