Few and far between

The 260 is a new aircraft with a small charter fleet, and its empty legs reflect that: occasional, from a very small number of sources, with long gaps. The older 200 and B200 are on the board in far greater numbers and do the same job; anyone watching this page should watch that one too.

When it does appear

Up to nine seats in the current King Air, in production since 2020.

Long notice, weeks rather than days, and a fair chance of a published price for a turboprop. Up to nine seats, an autothrottle and a digital pressurisation system are what the 260 adds to the 250. Specification: King Air 260 specifications.

Beechcraft King Air 260: specification and background

The 260 is the current King Air 200 series aircraft, introduced in 2020 with an autothrottle, a digital pressurisation controller and the Collins Pro Line Fusion cockpit of the 250 it replaced. Same PT6A-52 engines, same cabin, up to nine seats. New enough that few are in charter service, which is why it appears on this board only occasionally.
