Embraer took its ERJ-135 regional airliner in 2002, added winglets, extra fuel tanks and a three zone executive cabin, and called it the Legacy 600. The result was one of the roomiest cabins in the heavy jet class at a price well below a Gulfstream or Global, and it sold strongly to charter operators in Europe and the Middle East. Slower than the purpose built heavies and shorter legged, but thirteen seats and a full galley for the money.
