One way empty legs between Carlsbad and Las Vegas, exactly as the operators list them. Prices are the operator's own, not a marked up quote.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Carlsbad has two main corridors in our record and this is one of them. The field produces 35 recorded departures to 23 different destinations, and Las Vegas and Truckee tie at the top with five each. We publish both, and nothing else out of Carlsbad reaches more than two.
Four operators on five legs, which is unusual on a corridor this small. Schubach Aviation, Aircraft Management Group, Jet Methods and Thrive Aviation each listed at least one, and between them they put up four different types: a Beechcraft Beechjet 400A, a Gulfstream G450 twice, an Embraer Phenom 300 and a Bombardier Learjet 60XR. Nothing here is a shuttle.
Half this corridor's record is one aircraft going home twice. Aircraft Management Group listed the same Gulfstream G450 on two consecutive days, 12 and 13 September, both with thirteen seats and both at a 54 minute block. Two of the five legs also fall on the same date, 13 September, on different aircraft from different operators.
The one published price has a counterpart going the other way. Jet Methods listed an Embraer Phenom 300 with nine seats at USD 4,400 from Carlsbad to Las Vegas on 13 September, and the same operator listed the same type at USD 4,900 from Las Vegas to Carlsbad on 10 September. Those are its own two figures for the whole aircraft on the same sector in opposite directions, three days apart.
Concentrated in September after a single August leg. Four of the five depart between 12 and 26 September 2026 and the fifth flew on 8 August. Two of the five share the date 13 September.
Notice is mostly very short. Two of the legs entered our record on their own departure date, one gave five days and one seventeen. The 8 August leg was already on the board on 31 July when our record begins, so we cannot say how far ahead it appeared. A corridor where two of five listings appear on the morning they fly is one to hold an alert on rather than to check.
Approximate corridor between Carlsbad and Las Vegas. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Three of the five listings name both ends by ICAO code. The other two, from Schubach Aviation and Thrive Aviation, write Carlsbad, CA and Las Vegas, NV with no code at all. Those two city names pair with McClellan-Palomar and with Harry Reid and with nothing else anywhere in our data, which is why they are counted here, but confirm the field with the operator before you plan the drive.

Every leg we have recorded between Carlsbad and Las Vegas, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.
One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.
The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
One of the five legs carries a published price: USD 4,400 for the whole aircraft on an Embraer Phenom 300 with nine seats, departing 13 September. That is the operator's figure for the aircraft, not a per seat fare.
The other four say price on request, and that is the operators rather than a gap in our collection. Jet Methods publishes a figure on all eleven of its listings in our record, which is why this corridor has a number at all. Schubach Aviation publishes none on any of its 54, Aircraft Management Group none on any of its 91 and Thrive Aviation none on any of its 753.
Seats and block times come from three of the five: thirteen seats and 54 minutes on both Gulfstream G450 legs, nine seats and 48 minutes on the Phenom 300, against a great circle of 205 nautical miles. The Schubach and Thrive legs publish neither, so three columns read Not stated on those two rows.
We have recorded four legs coming back from Las Vegas to Carlsbad, below our bar for a page of its own, so there is no reverse page yet. Ask the operator three things: whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and which Las Vegas field the aircraft is actually going to.
Carlsbad to Las Vegas empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Carlsbad to Las Vegas and Las Vegas to Carlsbad, and send you nothing else.
