One way empty legs between Las Vegas and Carlsbad, exactly as the operators list them. The operator confirms availability and the price with you directly.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Las Vegas is the single busiest origin Carlsbad has. Carlsbad McClellan-Palomar has taken 55 recorded arrivals from 28 different origins, and Las Vegas leads on eight, ahead of Sedona on five and Truckee on four. Nothing else reaches four. At the other end it is one line in a very long list: Las Vegas produces 306 recorded departures to 91 destinations, and Carlsbad sits on eight, level with Vancouver and Salt Lake City.
Eight legs and seven different aircraft types, which is the widest spread on any corridor we publish at this size. A Beechcraft Beechjet 400A, a Cessna Citation CJ3 twice, an Embraer Phenom 300, a Cessna Citation CJ3+, a Gulfstream G450, a Bombardier Learjet 60XR and an Embraer Phenom 100E. Three operators split it evenly, Schubach Aviation on three, Thrive Aviation on three and Jet Methods on two.
Two of the eight carry a published price and one of those has a direct counterpart going the other way. Jet Methods listed an Embraer Phenom 300, tail N600GF, at USD 4,900 from Las Vegas to Carlsbad on 10 September, and listed the same airframe at USD 4,400 from Carlsbad to Las Vegas on 13 September, three days later. Those are the operator own two figures for the whole aircraft over the same 205 nautical miles.
The other six say price on request, and five of those also publish no seat count, no tail number and no block time. That is the shape of the Thrive Aviation and Schubach Aviation listings on this corridor, and it is why five rows of the table below read Not stated across three columns. It is not a gap in our collection, it is what the operators published.
A trickle that thickened through September. One leg flew on 5 August and the other seven fall between 6 September and 1 October 2026, no two of them on the same date. Six have already flown and two are still on the board.
Notice is short on this corridor and that is the practical point. Measured from the day each listing entered our record to its departure, the seven we can measure gave 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 14 and 16 days. Two appeared the day before they fly and one on the morning itself. The 5 August leg was already on the board on 31 July when our record opens, so we cannot say how far ahead it appeared. A corridor where most listings show up inside a fortnight is one to hold an alert on rather than to check.
Approximate corridor between Las Vegas and Carlsbad. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Two of the eight listings name both ends by ICAO code and both say KLAS to KCRQ, so the computed distance on this page uses the pair the operators themselves publish where they publish one. The other six name only the two cities. Worth knowing if you are comparing this page with the other Las Vegas routes on this site: the coded rows here say Harry Reid, while several other Las Vegas corridors we publish say Henderson Executive, and the two fields are about nine nautical miles apart.

Every leg we have recorded between Las Vegas and Carlsbad, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.
One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.
The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
Two of the eight carry a published price: USD 4,900 on the Jet Methods Embraer Phenom 300 on 10 September and USD 3,700 on the Jet Methods Embraer Phenom 100E on 26 September. Both are the operator figure for the whole aircraft, not a per seat fare. The other six say price on request.
The USD 1,200 between those two figures is a cabin difference rather than a market. The Phenom 300 publishes nine seats and the Phenom 100E five, and both are the same operator over the same ground. They are also the only two listings on this corridor that name a tail number, N600GF and N22DK.
Two of the eight publish a block time and both say 54 minutes, the two Jet Methods legs. The other six publish none, and five publish no seat count either. On a sector this short the drive at each end is a large part of your door to door time, so the field matters: McClellan-Palomar is in Carlsbad itself rather than in San Diego.
Ask the operator three things: whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and, on the six listings that publish nothing but an operator and a type, how many seats the aircraft actually has and what the whole aircraft costs.
Las Vegas to Carlsbad empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Las Vegas to Carlsbad and Carlsbad to Las Vegas, and send you nothing else.
