Why this route produces empty legs

Concord Regional sits north east of Charlotte and is the general aviation field most of that area's charter traffic uses. The sector to Pittsburgh International is about 305 nautical miles, and eight of the nine listings here publish the same block time, one hour six minutes, with the ninth giving one hour ten.

Pittsburgh is the largest destination out of Concord on our board, nine of the 21 departures we have recorded, and the only one that gets past five. At the other end it is the second largest origin into Pittsburgh, nine of 166 arrivals, behind Teterboro at eleven. Pittsburgh to Concord has ten, so the corridor runs both ways in almost equal numbers.

Effectively one operator. Aircraft Management Group posted eight of the nine and Hera Flight the other. Neither publishes a price on anything: no figure on any of Aircraft Management Group's 503 listings across 292 city pairs, and none on any of Hera Flight's 535 across 328.

One airframe type does most of it. A Beechcraft Hawker 900XP appears on seven of the nine legs, with a Cessna Citation XLS+ and a Bombardier Lear 60 once each. Seats are seven or eight on every listing, so the aircraft on offer here is consistent in a way most corridors are not.

Both directions, up to 20 flights, with the price exactly as the operator published it.

When they show up

Nine legs on seven dates between 17 September and 7 November 2026. Two dates carried two listings each, 25 October and 2 November, both of them Aircraft Management Group posting a pair on the same day.

Nothing on this corridor was live when this page was built. Three legs have flown and six were withdrawn before their departure date. Two thirds of everything we recorded here came off the board before it flew, so on this corridor the alert is worth more than checking the page.

The route on a map

Approximate corridor between Concord and Pittsburgh. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.

The airports on this route

Every one of the nine listings uses the same two airports, which is unusual and makes this corridor easy to plan around: there is no question at either end about which field you are using. The ground time at Pittsburgh International is the main difference against Allegheny County, which none of these legs touched.

Every leg we have on record for this route

Between 31 July and 19 October 2026 we recorded 9 empty legs from Concord to Pittsburgh. None of them carried a published price: every operator on this corridor lists it on request. All nine publish a seat count, seven or eight, and a block time: one hour six minutes on eight of them and one hour ten on the Bombardier Lear 60 leg.

This is a record, not availability. These are the legs we saw on this corridor in that window, kept so the route has a history you can judge it by. None of them is bookable from this table. What is actually open right now is the live list above, and if it is empty the route alert is the way to catch the next one.

Before you book

No operator on this corridor publishes a price. Neither Aircraft Management Group nor Hera Flight lists a figure on anything they post, so the price comes from the operator when you ask and we show nothing rather than guess.

Every listing publishes a seat count and a block time, seven or eight seats and one hour six minutes on eight of the nine. That makes the aircraft and the flight time knowable in advance even though the cost is not.

Six of the nine were withdrawn before their date. That is normal on an empty leg board, because the paid flight that creates the empty leg can move or fall through, but on this corridor it happened to two thirds of what we recorded. Ask the operator what happens in that case before you plan around a listing.

Worth asking as well whether the departure time can still move and whether the aircraft on the listing is the one you will actually fly, since one operator here posted two different types on the same day.
