Why this route produces empty legs

Pittsburgh International sends 89 departures to 31 destinations in our record and Teterboro is its third largest, eight listings on six dates behind Erie at nine and Concord Padgett at nine. The sector is about 280 nautical miles and the listings put it at 54 minutes to an hour in the air.

The thing to understand before reading the table is that one operator is most of this airport. Aircraft Management Group appears on every Pittsburgh corridor in our record that has more than one listing, and only two other operators show up at the field at all, Jetvia and Hera Flight. Six of the seven movements here are Aircraft Management Group, so the concentration on this corridor is the airport rather than the route.

Teterboro is the busiest arrival point on our board, 389 arrivals from 127 origins, and Pittsburgh is one of its smaller sources at eight listings. What earns this a page rather than a line in a table is the range of aircraft on a sector of under an hour: a nine seat Cessna Citation Latitude, a seven seat Beechcraft Hawker 400XP, a seven seat Bombardier Learjet 60 and a thirteen seat Gulfstream G650.

All seven movements publish both a block time and a seat count, which is better documentation than most corridors manage, and only one publishes a price. That is the operator mix showing through: Aircraft Management Group publishes a block time on all 306 of its listings and a price on none of them, while Jetvia publishes a price on 1,621 of its 1,715.

When they show up

Seven movements on six dates, 27 September to 26 October 2026, and five of the seven fall inside four days. Aircraft Management Group listed a Cessna Citation Latitude on 27, 28, 29 and 30 September and a Beechcraft Hawker 400XP on 30 September as well, so the corridor produced five movements in one long weekend and then two in the following month.

The notice on this corridor is the thing to understand before anything else on this page. Four of the seven first reached us on the morning of the day they departed: the 28, 29 and 30 September Citation Latitude legs and the 30 September Hawker 400XP. The Jetvia Learjet 60 gave six days. Only the Gulfstream G650 on 26 October gave real notice, at 28 days. On a corridor that behaves like this, checking the page is close to useless and the route alert is the only thing that works.

The route on a map

Approximate corridor between Pittsburgh and Teterboro. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.

The airports on this route

Both ends of this corridor are fixed: Pittsburgh International on every departure and Teterboro on every arrival, so there is no field choice to ask about at either end. Teterboro is the closest general aviation field to Manhattan and the busiest arrival point on our whole board, which is why it is the end that never varies. One thing the table cannot tell you: four of the seven movements are the same operator on four consecutive days with the same aircraft type and the same seat count, and we do not know whether that is one airframe shuttling or four separate repositioning flights, because Aircraft Management Group publishes no tail numbers. We are not going to guess which it is.

This is a record, not availability. These are the legs we have recorded on this corridor, read when you opened this page, kept so the route has a history you can judge it by. None of them is bookable from this table. What is actually open right now is the live list above, and if it is empty the route alert is the way to catch the next one.

Pittsburgh to Teterboro in the record

Every leg we have recorded between Pittsburgh and Teterboro, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.

Legs by departure month

One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.

Before you book

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.

One of the seven carries a published price: USD 4,800 for the whole aircraft on a seven seat Bombardier Learjet 60, tail N696RB, leaving Pittsburgh on 7 October. It is a Jetvia listing.

Read it as Jetvia's rate card rather than the corridor's price. Jetvia has published a figure on 1,621 of its 1,715 listings in our record and every one of those listings is a Learjet 60, so a single number from Jetvia on a 280 nautical mile sector tells you what Jetvia charges for a Learjet 60 and nothing at all about what the rest of this table costs.

The six unpriced legs are all Aircraft Management Group, which has published a price on none of its 306 listings and a tail number on none of them either. It does publish a block time on all 306. So on this corridor you can see how long every flight takes and which cabin you get, and the money is a phone call in six cases out of seven.

The largest cabin is the one with no number against it. The Gulfstream G650 listed for 26 October is thirteen seats and a long range heavy jet on a sector of under an hour, and it is the only leg here still on the board. It is also the only one of the seven that gave more than a week's notice. If a G650 repositioning into Teterboro is useful to you, that is the row to ring about.

Teterboro back to Pittsburgh is in our record at six listings and every one of them is Aircraft Management Group, so there is no page for it: one operator's calendar is not a corridor. Ask the operator whether the figure covers the whole aircraft or a part charter, whether the departure time can still move, and what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through.
