One way empty legs between Camarillo and Van Nuys, exactly as the operators list them. The operator confirms availability and the price with you directly.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
This is the shortest corridor on this site. Camarillo and Van Nuys are 30 nautical miles apart and every one of the six listings puts the same 24 minutes of block time against that. The next shortest route we publish, Farmingdale to Westhampton Beach, is 36 nautical miles, and everything else we publish runs to three figures. On a sector this short the handling at both ends and the drive at the far end decide whether the flight is worth taking at all.
Camarillo is an unusually closed field, and Van Nuys is the second thing it does. Camarillo produces departures on 21 recorded dates to only six destinations: San Jose on 11 dates, Van Nuys on 6, Monterey on 4, and Moffett Field, Portland and San Diego on one each. Two destinations take 17 of the 21 dates.
From the Van Nuys end it is one arrival among many. Van Nuys has recorded arrivals on 53 dates from 50 different origins, led by Teterboro on 10. Camarillo is joint second on 6, level with Scottsdale, San Francisco and San Jose.
Two operators, one aircraft type each, and no overlap between them on the calendar. XCEL JET listed three legs, every one a Bombardier Lear 40XR with six seats, all on September dates. Sun Air Jets listed the other three, every one a Cessna Citation X with eight seats, all on October dates. Camarillo is the busiest single field in Sun Air Jets' book in our record, 23 of its 57 listings, just ahead of Van Nuys on 21. For XCEL JET it runs the other way: 26 of its 55 listings touch Van Nuys and 10 touch Camarillo.
In two blocks, one per operator. The three XCEL JET legs fall on 12, 17 and 26 September 2026 and the three Sun Air Jets legs on 4, 9 and 11 October. Nothing sits between 26 September and 4 October, and neither operator has listed a date inside the other one's block.
Notice is short to middling and there is no long lead here at all. Measured from the day each listing entered our record to its departure, the six gave 0, 3, 11, 18, 18 and 31 days. One appeared on the morning it flew and the longest lead the corridor has ever shown is a month, so the route alert is worth more than checking this page.
Approximate corridor between Camarillo and Van Nuys. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
All six listings name Camarillo and Van Nuys by ICAO code, KCMA and KVNY, so the 30 nautical miles this page computes is the distance between the two fields the operators themselves name. One row in the table below is worth reading carefully. The Sun Air Jets listing for 9 October was on the board from 8 to 22 September and came off it the day before the 4 and 11 October dates appeared, so it may be the same aircraft re-dated rather than a third Sun Air Jets departure. On the strictest reading this corridor is five separate aircraft movements rather than six. All three dates stay in the table because all three were listed.

Every leg we have recorded between Camarillo and Van Nuys, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.
One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.
The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
No leg on this corridor carries a published price. All six say price on request, so the figure comes from the operator when you ask and we show nothing rather than guess.
That is the operators rather than a gap in our collection. Sun Air Jets publishes no price on any of its 57 listings in our record and XCEL JET none on any of its 55. Between them that is 112 listings and not one figure, so a price here is something you will always have to ask for.
What they do publish is identical on every row. All six carry a seat count, six on each Lear 40XR and eight on each Citation X, and all six carry the same 24 minutes of block time. Nothing varies by date, so there is no trend on this corridor to read anything into.
We have recorded five legs coming back from Van Nuys to Camarillo, and under the same reading that trims this direction to five it is four, which is below our bar for a page of its own. So there is no reverse page, although the corridor does run both ways and the same two operators list both halves. Ask the operator three things: whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and what the handling costs at each end, because on a 24 minute sector that is the part of the day that is not in the air.
Camarillo to Van Nuys empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Camarillo to Van Nuys and Van Nuys to Camarillo, and send you nothing else.
