One way empty legs between Miami and Tampa, exactly as the operators list them. The operator confirms availability and the price with you directly.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
This is a short hop across Florida, 175 nautical miles, and it is the busiest thing our record shows leaving Miami Opa Locka. We have recorded forty five departures from Opa Locka Executive to twenty two different destinations, and Tampa takes five of them, level with Naples and Hammond and ahead of everything else.
One operator accounts for every leg. Executive Air Services entered our record on 8 September 2026 with eighty listings across fifty one corridors, and all five legs here are its. Every one is the same Beechcraft Beechjet 400A with seven seats and a published block time of 48 minutes, which makes this the most uniform corridor on our board.
The airport pair is the specific thing to know. Departures use Opa Locka Executive, the general aviation field north of downtown Miami, and arrivals use Tampa International, the commercial airport, not one of the smaller Tampa Bay fields. That is a choice rather than a naming habit: the same operator lists St Pete Clearwater separately on other routes in our record.
The reverse direction exists in our data and we cannot publish it. Three legs run from Tampa International back to Opa Locka, and a further eight sit between airfields our sources name only as Tampa and Miami with no airport code on any row. Without a code we cannot place those on a map, so there is no Tampa to Miami page here rather than a page built on a guess.
The listings arrived in two days and the departures are spread over two months. All five went on the board on 8 or 9 September 2026. The departure dates run from 8 September to 7 November.
There is no middle ground on notice here. Three of the five were for the same week they were listed, one of them for the day it was posted. The other two are twenty nine and fifty nine days out. Nothing on this corridor was published two or three weeks ahead.
Approximate corridor between Miami and Tampa. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
All five listings name Opa Locka Executive and Tampa International, so the computed distance on this page uses the pair the operators themselves use. Seven seats and a 48 minute block time on every one of the five, with no variation at all.

Every leg we have recorded between Miami and Tampa, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.
One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.
The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
No operator on this corridor publishes a price. All five legs say price on request, so the figure comes from the operator when you ask, and we show nothing rather than guess.
That is the operator rather than our collection. Executive Air Services publishes no price on any of its eighty listings anywhere in our record. It does publish a seat count and a block time every time, which is why those two columns are filled below and the price column is not.
Everything here is one aircraft type with seven seats, so the cabin does not vary the way it does on a corridor with several operators. What you are choosing between is dates, not aeroplanes.
Ask the operator three things: whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and whether Tampa International is the field you want, because the same operator uses St Pete Clearwater on other routes and it is the other side of the bay.
Miami to Tampa empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Miami to Tampa and Tampa to Miami, and send you nothing else.
