Why this route produces empty legs

Napa County Airport is the field for Wine Country, and Las Vegas is the largest arrival city on this whole board with 433 recorded arrivals. The sector is about 370 nautical miles and the one listing here that publishes a block time gives one hour twelve minutes.

Las Vegas is the only destination out of Napa that gets past five legs on our board, nine of the 33 departures we have recorded. Las Vegas to Napa has eight, so this is one of the few corridors where the two directions are almost level rather than one end filling up with empty aircraft.

Two operators publishing in opposite ways. Thrive Aviation posted eight of the nine and publishes no price on any of its 1,518 listings across 598 city pairs. Prestige Air Group posted one and publishes a price on all 85 of its listings. On this corridor that means eight listings tell you nothing about cost and one tells you everything.

Four aircraft types across nine legs, a Cessna Citation Longitude on four, a Gulfstream G450 on three, and a Cessna Citation Sovereign+ and a Beechcraft Premier I once each. The Premier I is a six seat light jet and the G450 a large cabin aircraft, so what is on offer here varies a lot more than the route does.

Both directions, up to 20 flights, with the price exactly as the operator published it.

When they show up

Nine legs on eight dates between 14 August and 6 November 2026. Six of them fall in October, on five dates, and 13 October carried two separate Thrive Aviation aircraft. Before October the pattern was roughly monthly.

One was still on the board when this page was built, 31 October. Seven have flown and one, 6 November, was withdrawn before its departure date.

The airports on this route

Eight of the nine listings name only the cities, so the Las Vegas field is the thing to check. Henderson Executive is the one that appears in our data here, and it is general aviation only and faster to clear than Harry Reid. At the Napa end there is no ambiguity in practice, because Napa County is the only field in the valley itself.

Every leg we have on record for this route

Between 31 July and 19 October 2026 we recorded 9 empty legs from Napa to Las Vegas. 1 of them carried a published price, at USD 4,000 for the whole aircraft. One of the nine publishes a block time, one hour twelve minutes, and that same listing is the only one to publish a seat count, six. The other eight name the aircraft and nothing else.

This is a record, not availability. These are the legs we saw on this corridor in that window, kept so the route has a history you can judge it by. None of them is bookable from this table. What is actually open right now is the live list above, and if it is empty the route alert is the way to catch the next one.

Before you book

One of the nine legs carries a published price: USD 4,000 for a six seat Beechcraft Premier I on 9 October, listed by Prestige Air Group with a block time of one hour twelve minutes. That figure is for the whole aircraft, exactly as the operator published it, not per seat and not a starting price.

One price is not a rate for the route. A six seat Premier I is the smallest aircraft on this corridor and the three Gulfstream G450 legs are the largest, so a figure from one tells you very little about the other. We publish the one figure we have and nothing else.

The other eight publish nothing on price. All eight are Thrive Aviation, which lists no figure anywhere on this board. That is the operator's practice rather than a comment on this corridor, so the price comes from the operator when you ask.

Only the priced listing publishes a seat count or a block time; the other eight name the aircraft and nothing else. Ask which Las Vegas field you are landing at, whether the departure time can still move, and what happens if the paid flight that created the empty leg falls through.
