Why this route produces empty legs

Page Municipal (KPGA) is the airport for Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon and the eastern end of the Grand Canyon. It is a destination field, not a base: aircraft come in with visitors and there is very little local demand to fly them out again.

Las Vegas is the nearest large business aviation base, about a hundred and ninety miles west. That is where the aircraft goes back to, and that return is what appears on this page. All five legs we have on record came from one operator, Thrive Aviation.

The legs arrive in pairs on consecutive days. A Learjet 60XR on 25 and 26 August, then a Citation CJ3+ on 24 and 25 September. Same type on both days of each pair, which is consistent with one aircraft making two runs rather than two aircraft happening to be there.

Both directions, up to 20 flights, with the price exactly as the operator published it.

When they show up

Unevenly. Two of the five went up two and three days before departure, two more went up four weeks ahead, and the 1 October leg was on the board for fifty four days. There is no pattern to plan around here, which is what the route alert is for.

The airports on this route

Page is small and seasonal and the ramp is busiest in summer. If you are connecting onward from Las Vegas, remember that an empty leg arrives when the operator needs it to arrive, so leave more margin than you would on a scheduled flight.

Every leg we have on record for this route

Between 31 July and 1 September 2026 we recorded 5 empty legs from Page to Las Vegas. None of them carried a published price: every operator on this corridor lists it on request. Each one was roughly forty five minutes in the air, on three types, a Learjet 60XR, a Citation CJ3+ and a Gulfstream G450.

This is a record, not availability. These are the legs we saw on this corridor in that window, kept so the route has a history you can judge it by. None of them is bookable from this table. What is actually open right now is the live list above, and if it is empty the route alert is the way to catch the next one.

Before you book

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.

No operator on this corridor publishes a price. All five legs we have recorded say price on request, so the figure comes from the operator when you ask and we show nothing rather than guess.

No operator here published a flight time either, so the block figure on this page is worked from the great circle distance rather than taken from a listing. Ask the operator three things: whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and which Las Vegas field you are landing at.
