One way empty legs between Scottsdale and Santa Ana, exactly as the operators list them. Prices are the operator's own, not a marked up quote.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Santa Ana is where private aviation arrives in Orange County, and out of Scottsdale it is one of three destinations tied on five movements each, behind Las Vegas at 19 and Van Nuys at eight. Scottsdale itself is the fifth busiest origin in our record, 218 listings to 81 destinations, behind Las Vegas, Teterboro, Miami and Toronto.
The sector is about 300 nautical miles, which makes it the third longest of the four Scottsdale corridors we publish, behind Calgary at about 1,055 nautical miles and Van Nuys at about 330. Three of the five movements publish a block time and all three say exactly one hour.
Three of the five are one operator, Pinnacle Aviation Charter, and it is the reason this page has prices at all: Pinnacle publishes a price, a tail number and a block time on every one of its 58 listings in our record. The other two are Jet OUT, which publishes none of the three on any of its 1,326.
The corridor works in one direction on this site. Santa Ana back to Scottsdale exists in our record but folds to fewer than five movements, so there is no reverse page. What the site does publish is both directions between Santa Ana and Las Vegas, which is the busier corridor out of the same airport.
Five movements between 20 September and 21 October 2026, four of them inside ten days in the middle of October. That is a cluster rather than a schedule, and the one September leg is separated from the rest by three weeks.
Notice varies by operator more than by date. The 21 October Jet OUT leg has been in our record since 12 August, ten weeks ahead of departure, while the 20 September one appeared four days before it flew. The three Pinnacle legs appeared 18, 21 and 32 days out. There is no lead time here you can plan around, which is what the route alert is for.
Approximate corridor between Scottsdale and Santa Ana. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Both ends are unambiguous here: every listing on this corridor gives KSDL to KSNA. John Wayne has a night curfew and a noise programme that a departing aircraft has to work around, so ask the operator about the departure and arrival slots rather than assuming a one hour flight can leave whenever suits you. Santa Ana is quick for Orange County and the south of the Los Angeles basin and slow for anywhere north of downtown.

Every leg we have recorded between Scottsdale and Santa Ana, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.
One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.
The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
Three of the five carry a published price, from USD 5,100 to USD 6,900 for the whole aircraft, and all three are Pinnacle Aviation Charter.
The gap between them is cabin, not seats. The USD 6,900 legs on 12 and 13 October are the same Bombardier Challenger 300, tail N797CS, listed at nine seats. The USD 5,100 leg on 18 October is a Cessna Citation XLS, tail N560TW, listed at eight. So 35 per cent more money buys one more seat and a considerably larger aircraft, and both publish the same one hour block time.
N560TW turns up twice more in our record, on Scottsdale to Jackson on 18 September and 2 October, both times at USD 7,900. That is the same airframe and the same operator at 55 per cent more money for a sector twice as long, which is worth knowing if you are trying to read a rate per hour out of these figures.
The two legs with no price are Jet OUT, an eight seat Citation CJ4 on 20 September and another on 21 October. Jet OUT has never published a price, a tail number or a block time on any of its 1,326 listings in our record, and every aircraft it lists is a Citation CJ4, so those two rows are a date, a type and a cabin size and nothing more.
Ask the operator whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and what the slot situation is at John Wayne on the day.
Scottsdale to Santa Ana empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Scottsdale to Santa Ana and Santa Ana to Scottsdale, and send you nothing else.
