The Learjet 60 first flew in 1990 as a stretched, re-engined Learjet 55 with Pratt & Whitney PW305A engines, and the 60XR of 2007 added a Collins Pro Line 21 cockpit and a redesigned cabin. Production ended in 2013. It has the highest cruise altitude and one of the fastest climbs in the midsize class, and a long, narrow cabin for eight; on this board it works the American southwest.
