One way empty legs between Nantucket and Teterboro, exactly as the operators list them. The operator confirms availability and the price with you directly.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Nantucket is an island 30 miles off Cape Cod with a short season, and Teterboro is where private aviation arrives in New York, twelve miles from Midtown. Teterboro is the single most frequent destination we have recorded out of Nantucket: six of the sixteen listings leaving the island go there, and the next busiest takes two. The sector is about 185 nautical miles.
The reason is the shape of the traffic rather than the size of it. Nantucket is a destination and not a base. Aircraft fly guests out from the New York area, drop them and go home, or come back empty to collect them, and the leg with nobody on it is what appears here.
Read from the other end this is a small corridor. Teterboro takes arrivals from 148 different origins in our record and Nantucket is sixteenth of them, a long way behind Toronto at 39 listings and Washington at 27. What earns it a page is not volume: it is that three separate operators fly it on five different aircraft, so it is not one company shuttle.
Those five aircraft span a wide range for a 40 minute hop: a fifteen seat Bombardier Global 6000, a Gulfstream G450, a Cessna Citation Sovereign+, an eight seat Embraer Phenom 300 and a seven seat Cessna Citation Bravo. The Global 6000 is British registered, G-FOMO, which is a long range heavy jet making a 185 nautical mile positioning flight.
In the season and just after it. All five movements departed between 6 August and 11 October 2026 and the record holds nothing on this corridor outside that window. If you are looking in February, the alert is the only thing that will help.
Notice is short on every single one. The five legs appeared between one and twelve days before departure, and the Bombardier Global 6000 was listed the day before it flew. There is no long forward calendar on this corridor at all, which is the opposite of the pattern on most of the routes we track.
Approximate corridor between Nantucket and Teterboro. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Getting off Nantucket is the awkward half of this journey, so the departure time on a listing here is worth confirming twice. At the New York end, Teterboro is quick for Manhattan and slow for Long Island or Connecticut, and on a 40 minute flight the drive at the far end is the longer part of the trip.

Every leg we have recorded between Nantucket and Teterboro, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.
One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.
The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
No operator on this corridor publishes a price. All five legs say price on request, so the figure comes from the operator when you ask and we show nothing rather than guess.
That is not peculiar to this route, it is who flies it. Aircraft Services Group, which has two of the five, publishes a price on only three of its 210 listings in our record, although it publishes a tail number and a block time on all 210. Thrive Aviation, which has two more, publishes no price, no tail and no time on any of its 1,039. Luxaviation does price 503 of its 968 listings, but not this one.
What you can compare is time in the air, because three of the five publish it and the spread is wide for one short sector: 40 minutes on the Bombardier Global 6000, 48 on the Embraer Phenom 300 and 54 on the Cessna Citation Bravo. Over the same 185 nautical miles the heavy jet does it in about three quarters of the time the light one needs.
Teterboro back to Nantucket is in our record but folds to four movements, below the five we require before writing a page, so there is no reverse page yet. Ask the operator whether the departure time can still move, whether the aircraft is going on somewhere afterwards, and what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through.
Nantucket to Teterboro empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Nantucket to Teterboro and Teterboro to Nantucket, and send you nothing else.
