One way empty legs between Teterboro and Nantucket, exactly as the operators list them. The operator confirms availability and the price with you directly.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Teterboro to Nantucket is about 185 nautical miles, and the legs that publish a usable block time run thirty six to forty eight minutes. It is a forty minute hop from the New York business aviation gateway out to the island.
This corridor is a season rather than a year. All six recorded legs fall between 21 August and 5 October 2026. Nothing was on the board when this page was built, and in October that is the expected state of the route rather than a gap in our data. Nantucket empties out after the summer and the empty leg traffic to it goes with it.
The aircraft are far larger than the distance needs. A Global 6000 with fifteen seats, a Challenger 650 with twelve, a Falcon 7X with fourteen and a Challenger 605 with nine all flew this forty minute sector. Large cabin aircraft on a short hop is what the empty leg market is made of, and on this corridor it is the whole picture rather than the exception.
It is a small corridor at both ends. Teterboro produced 38 recorded legs to Toronto and 20 to Bedford; Nantucket is one of six Teterboro destinations tied at six. And Teterboro is not even Nantucket's biggest origin. Cleveland sends eight recorded legs into the island against Teterboro's six, with Naples at four, and the Cleveland corridor already has its own page on this site.
Six movements on five dates between 21 August and 5 October 2026. Two left on 5 October, the last day of the run, from two different operators on aircraft at opposite ends of the size range. There is no pattern to the spacing beyond the season itself.
Nothing was on the board when this page was built, and in October that is the normal state of this corridor. Six legs across seven weeks is too thin to find by refreshing a page, so for a summer flight to the island the route alert is the only thing that will catch one.
Approximate corridor between Teterboro and Nantucket. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
One of the six legs names no airport at either end, so the field counts above do not add to six. That one is Thrive Aviation, and the reason is in the section below. Nantucket being an island is the whole of the ground logistics question: there is no road alternative if the flight does not happen, and the island's weather is its own rather than New York's, so a leg can be held at the Nantucket end on a clear day at Teterboro. One figure in our record is wrong and this page does not repeat it: the 21 August Luxaviation Global 6000 row carries a block time of 23 hours 15 minutes, which cannot be right for a 185 nautical mile sector. The other five read between thirty six and forty eight minutes, and the forty minutes quoted on this page comes from those.
Between 31 July and 8 October 2026 we recorded 6 empty legs from Teterboro to Nantucket. 1 of them carried a published price, at USD 6,011 for the whole aircraft. Five of the six publish a block time between thirty six and forty eight minutes. The sixth carries a figure of 23 hours 15 minutes, which is a defect in the listing rather than a flight time, and the note above says so. Five publish a seat count, from six to fifteen.

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.
One of the six legs carries a published price, USD 6,011 for the whole aircraft. That is a Jet Linx Falcon 7X on 5 October, and it is the only number on this page.
The reason the column is almost empty is the operators rather than the corridor. Northeastern Aviation has published a price on none of its 344 recorded listings, Aircraft Services Group on three of its 253, and Thrive Aviation on none of its 1,226. Those three account for four of the six legs here. Luxaviation does publish prices, on 607 of its 1,072 listings, but not on this one.
The one figure is not a benchmark for the corridor. Jet Linx publishes 208 different figures across 274 priced listings, so USD 6,011 is that flight, on a fourteen seat Falcon 7X, on that date. The Citation CJ4 that left Teterboro the same day seats six and carries no price at all, and there is nothing in our record that says what it would have cost.
Ask about the island specifically. Whether the departure time can still move, what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through, and what the operator does if Nantucket is not usable on the day. On a forty minute sector to an island with no road out, the answer to the last one is the part that actually affects you.
