One way empty legs between Miami and Toronto, exactly as the operators list them. Prices are the operator's own, not a marked up quote.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Miami to Toronto is about 1,065 nautical miles between Miami Opa Locka and Toronto Pearson, and every leg here publishes a block time of two hours 36 to two hours 48. It is the return half of the Canadian snowbird sector, and the aircraft on it are owned at the Toronto end rather than in Florida.
Every one of the five recorded legs is a midsize or large cabin jet. The seat counts are seven, eight, nine, eleven and thirteen. There is no light jet on this corridor at all, which is what a 1,065 mile sector flown by corporate operators produces rather than the small aircraft that dominate Miami's shorter Florida runs.
Three operators carry it and all three are Canadian names. Chartright Air Group has three of the five legs, Skyservice Business Aviation one and NovaJet Aviation Group one. None of the three is a Florida based operator, which is the whole reason the northbound leg is empty: the aircraft came south on a paid trip and has to go home.
Seen from either end this is a secondary corridor, not an artery. Miami's largest destination on our board is Teterboro with thirteen recorded legs, then Birmingham at nine and Nashville and Milwaukee at seven each, and Toronto sits just behind that group. Into Toronto the picture is even starker: Teterboro supplies forty three recorded legs, Sault Ste Marie and Montreal more than ten each, and Miami fewer than ten. We also keep the page for the southbound direction, Toronto to Miami.
Five legs on five dates between 15 October and 15 December 2026. That is roughly one a fortnight, spread rather than clustered, and no two of them are on the same aircraft.
All five were still on the board when this page was built. That is unusual and it is a function of the dates: every recorded leg on this corridor is in the future, so nothing has had the chance to fly yet. Expect that to change rather than treating it as a permanent state of affairs.
Approximate corridor between Miami and Toronto. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Pearson is the only Toronto arrival in our record for this corridor, so if you want the island airport that is a question for the operator rather than something a listing will offer. Fort Lauderdale is a separate origin on our board, so a leg leaving from there will not appear on this page.
Between 31 July and 11 October 2026 we recorded 5 empty legs from Miami to Toronto. Four of them carried a published price, from CAD 17,600 to CAD 32,000 for the whole aircraft. The fifth, the NovaJet Global Express, says on request, which is what NovaJet publishes on everything. All five publish a block time, two hours 36 on three of them and two hours 48 on the two Citations, and all five publish a seat count, from seven on the Citation Excel to thirteen on the Global Express. Two of the five publish a tail number and both are Canadian registered.
| Departure | Aircraft | Seats | Operator's published price | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 15 Oct 2026 | Dassault Falcon 2000 | 11 | CAD 32,000 | On the board now |
| 25 Oct 2026 | Cessna Citation XLS | 8 | CAD 17,600 listed | On the board now |
| 18 Nov 2026 | Bombardier Challenger 300 | 9 | CAD 22,400 listed | On the board now |
| 11 Dec 2026 | Cessna Citation Excel | 7 | CAD 17,600 listed | On the board now |
| 15 Dec 2026 | Bombardier Global Express | 13 | On request | On the board now |
Four of the five legs carry a published price, from CAD 17,600 to CAD 32,000 for the whole aircraft. The CAD 32,000 is the Skyservice Falcon 2000 on 15 October, CAD 22,400 the Chartright Challenger 300 on 18 November, and CAD 17,600 both of the Chartright Citations.
Those figures look sector specific rather than generic. Chartright publishes a price on 582 of its 720 recorded listings and uses 87 different figures to do it, and the CAD 17,600 it quotes here appears on this airport pair and no other. Skyservice publishes a price on all seventeen listings we have from it, using fourteen different figures, and its CAD 32,000 appears once. That is the opposite of an operator repeating one standing number.
The fifth leg, the NovaJet Global Express on 15 December, says on request. NovaJet publishes no price on any of the 54 listings we have recorded from it, so that is the operator's practice rather than anything about this flight.
Ask the operator which Miami field you are leaving from, since four of these legs go from Opa Locka and one from Miami International, whether the departure time can still move, and what happens if the paid flight that created the empty leg falls through. Prices in Canadian dollars are the operator's own currency, not a conversion we have applied.
