One way empty legs between Miami and Charleston, exactly as the operators list them. Prices are the operator's own, not a marked up quote.
Straight line distance between the two cities. Actual routing and flight time depend on the aircraft and the airports.
Miami to Charleston is about 420 nautical miles, and the legs here publish block times of an hour twelve to an hour twenty four. It is the shortest corridor out of Miami on our board that reaches another state, and the aircraft flying it are light jets rather than the large cabins Miami is known for.
Miami is a large origin and Charleston is a mid sized part of it. Miami produces more than twenty destinations with four or more recorded legs, led by Tampa at nineteen, Jacksonville at fourteen and Teterboro at thirteen. Charleston sits at nine, which puts it in the top handful without being a main artery.
Seen from Charleston it is the single biggest inbound origin. Nine recorded legs arrive from Miami, ahead of Teterboro at seven and Knoxville at six. The pattern into Charleston is Florida first, then the northeast.
One operator dominates, on one small aircraft. Executive Air Services flew eight of the eleven legs, every one of them a seven seat Beechjet 400A out of Opa Locka. Aircraft Management Group flew two on a Hawker 400XP out of Miami International, and Gold Aviation flew one Phenom 300. Eight of eleven on a single light jet is the thing to know before you plan around cabin size.
Eleven legs on eleven dates between 13 September and 7 November 2026. Six of them were consecutive days, 13 to 18 September, which is one aircraft repeating a rotation rather than six separate chances, and two more ran back to back on 24 and 25 September.
Two were still on the board when this page was built, 11 October and 7 November. After the September clusters the corridor thins to roughly one leg a fortnight, so the route alert is worth more than checking the page.
Approximate corridor between Miami and Charleston. Operators fly the sector direct; the airports each listing uses are shown on the flight itself.
Charleston International is the only arrival in our record for this corridor, so if you want the Johns Island field instead that is a question for the operator rather than a listing. Fort Lauderdale is a separate origin on our board with four recorded legs into Charleston of its own, so a leg leaving from there will not appear on this page.
Between 31 July and 9 October 2026 we recorded 11 empty legs from Miami to Charleston. One of them carried a published price, USD 9,300 for the whole aircraft on a Phenom 300. The two operators behind the other ten publish no prices on anything they list. All eleven publish a block time, an hour eighteen on the eight Beechjet 400A legs, an hour twenty four on the two Hawker 400XP legs and an hour twelve on the Phenom 300, and all eleven seat seven.

One of the eleven legs carries a published price, USD 9,300 for the whole aircraft on a Phenom 300. That is the Gold Aviation leg on 11 October, and it is the only figure on this corridor.
Treat it as the operator's standing number for that aircraft rather than a Miami to Charleston fare. Gold Aviation prices all 126 of its recorded listings but across only 23 distinct figures spread over 97 different airport pairs, and USD 9,300 is the figure it repeats most often. The same number appears on its listings for entirely different sectors.
The other two operators publish nothing. Executive Air Services, which flew eight of these eleven legs, has 337 recorded listings across 143 airport pairs and a price on none of them. Aircraft Management Group has 378 listings across 237 pairs and a price on none. So nine of the eleven rows below say on request because that is what was published.
Ask the operator which Miami field you are leaving from, whether the Charleston arrival could be the Johns Island field, whether the departure time can still move, and what happens if the paid flight that created the empty leg falls through.
Miami to Charleston empty legs are posted days ahead, not months. Leave your email and we watch both directions for you, Miami to Charleston and Charleston to Miami, and send you nothing else.
