Why this route produces empty legs

Naples in Florida is a large and lopsided node on our board, 245 departures to 93 destinations against 107 arrivals from 51. Toronto is one of its most frequent destinations at eight movements, level with Dallas and Waukesha and behind only Chicago Executive at twelve, DuPage at eleven and Lancaster at eleven. The sector is about 1,055 nautical miles.

Toronto Pearson takes 272 arrivals from 63 origins and Naples is its sixth largest source, behind Sault Ste Marie at 45, Teterboro at 37, Montreal at 29, Ottawa at seventeen and Westhampton Beach at nine. It is the longest of those six by a wide margin.

Four operators list the eight movements and one of them accounts for five. Elite Jets has five legs and every one is an eight seat Embraer Phenom 300 with the same three hour twelve minute block, which on its own would be a calendar rather than a corridor. What earns this a page is the other three: a Chartright Cessna Citation XLS, a Skyservice Cessna Citation Excel and a NovaJet Bombardier Global 5000, three operators, three cabins and a twelve seat heavy jet among them.

All eight publish a block time, which is rare, and the spread is the useful part. The twelve seat Global 5000 does the sector in two hours 30 minutes, the Citation Excel in two hours 42 and the Phenom 300 needs three hours twelve. That is 42 minutes of difference over the same 1,055 nautical miles, which on a cross border flight is most of an hour you either spend or save.

When they show up

Eight movements on seven dates, and seven of the eight fall in November and December 2026. The only one that has already flown is 12 August. There is nothing at all on this corridor in our record between late August and the start of November.

17 December carries two movements, an Elite Jets Phenom 300 and a NovaJet Global 5000, two different operators on the same day. Notice splits sharply by direction in time: the single flown leg went on the board the day before it departed, while the seven forward legs were first seen between 43 and 95 days ahead. This is a corridor you watch months out rather than days.

The route on a map

The airports on this route

This is a cross border sector, so Toronto means Canadian customs on arrival and passports for everyone on board. Pearson is the only Toronto field on this corridor and it is not the close in one, so expect about fifteen miles of road at the far end. The distance here is measured from Naples Municipal to Pearson because that is the pair of codes on every single listing.

This is a record, not availability. These are the legs we have recorded on this corridor, read when you opened this page, kept so the route has a history you can judge it by. None of them is bookable from this table. What is actually open right now is the live list above, and if it is empty the route alert is the way to catch the next one.

Naples to Toronto in the record

Every leg we have recorded between Naples and Toronto, in either direction, since 30 July 2026, whether it is still on the board or not. A leg leaves the board when the operator stops publishing it, and we cannot tell from outside whether it was sold or withdrawn, so these are counts of what was listed, not of what flew.

Legs by departure month

One bar per calendar month, from the first month in our record to the furthest date an operator has published so far. Grey bars are months already past, gold is this month and the months ahead. A blank month is a month we have no record for, and before August 2026 that means we were not yet recording. The months ahead hold only what operators have published up to now, and most empty legs appear days or weeks before departure, so those bars will keep growing. The shape says how far ahead operators publish, not how busy a month will be.

Each row is a pair of airports as the operator named them, in the direction flown. Both directions of the corridor are counted. An operator that names only the city leaves us the city, which is why some rows are city names.

Before you book

The price on a card is the operator's figure for the whole aircraft. What that comes to per seat, across every type we see, is in how much an empty leg private jet costs.

One of the eight carries a published price: CAD 18,000 for the whole aircraft on a seven seat Cessna Citation Excel, tail C-GRCC, leaving Naples on 3 November. It is a Skyservice Business Aviation listing and the figure is in Canadian dollars because that is the operator's own currency, not a conversion we have made.

One price is not a corridor rate and this page will not pretend otherwise. There is nothing here to set it against, and the Citation Excel sits in the middle of the cabin range on this route rather than at either end of it.

The seven unpriced legs come from three operators that publish differently. Elite Jets has priced none of its 149 listings in our record and NovaJet none of its 45. Chartright is the odd one: it publishes a price on 532 of its 670 listings but not on the leg it flew here. So the silence on this corridor is mostly house policy and partly a gap.

Only the two Canadian operators publish a tail number. Skyservice gives C-GRCC and NovaJet gives C-GFAP, the Global 5000 that appears on 17 December heading north and again on 4 January heading south, which is the same airframe working both directions of the corridor. Chartright publishes no tail number on any of its 670 listings and neither does Elite Jets on any of its 149.

Toronto back to Naples is in our record at six movements and has no page yet, which makes this one of the more balanced long corridors we hold. Ask the operator which Naples departure slot you are on, whether the price quoted sits before or after Canadian landing and handling fees, and what happens if the paid flight that created this empty leg falls through.
